Das Projekt RegioVers zielt darauf ab, anhand struktureller Datenerhebungen ein besseres Verständnis von Wertschöpfungsketten im Bereich der öffentlichen Gemeinschaftsverpflegung zu erlangen, und durch eine innovative Strategieentwicklung konkrete regionale Bio-Wertschöpfungsketten und -netzwerke zu initiieren.
RegioVers wird Grundlagen für eine bioregionale Ausrichtung von Ernährungssystemen (Produktion, Verarbeitung, Logistik, Vertrieb und Konsum) mit Fokus auf der öffentlichen Gemeinschaftsverpflegung liefern und entsprechende Umsetzungsansätze initiieren. Ziel ist, eine funktionierende Versorgung der ö GV mit regional erzeugten Biolebensmitteln in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern zu fördern, durch Schaffung bzw. Ausbau regionaler Wertschöpfungsketten für ökologisch produzierte Agrarerzeugnisse, und damit die Versorgung mit regionalen Bioerzeugnissen insgesamt zu verbessern.
