Ce guide résume les résultats du projet international POWER du Core Organic Cofund, qui vise à améliorer la santé et le bien-être des porcs biologiques tout en réduisant l'empreinte environnementale des systèmes d'élevage. Il propose des stratégies basées sur les connaissances actuelles pour concevoir et gérer les aires de sortie, des porcelets et améliorer la santé des animaux. Les meilleures pratiques et des exemples innovants de toute l'Europe sont présentés pour inspirer et faciliter le développement d'une production porcine biologique économiquement compétitive, durable et résiliente.
