Summary

Det nystartede Organic RDD-projekt Ø-KO-AVL arbejder for at udvikle et økologisk avlsprogram tilpasset økologiske produktionssystemer. Projektet vil definere et avlsmål baseret på økonomiske modeller og præferencer hos forbrugere, mejerivirksomheder og landmænd. Ø-KO-AVL vil også optimere forskellige dele af avlsprogrammet og kvantificere fordelene ved at etablere en separat økologisk avlslinje for Nordisk Rødt, som Rød Dansk Malkerace i Danmark er en del af.
