In Südostasien besteht ein wachsendes Interesse an biologischem Anbau und Zertifizierung von Gemüse, um die lokalen Märkte mit unbedenklichen Produkten zu versorgen. Gemeinsam mit dem Zentrum für Agrarforschung in Vietnam (Centre for Agricultural Research and Ecological Studies, CARES) und der Ernährungs- und Landwirtschaftsorganisation der Vereinten Nationen (FAO) hat das FiBL Schweiz im Jahr 2022 ein Projekt zu Biogemüse in Vietnam lanciert – das Projekt Agro-econvert. Auch der wachsende Biosektor in Thailand bietet interessante Möglichkeiten für die Zusammenarbeit in der Forschung.

Summary translation

In Southeast Asia, there is a growing interest in organic production and certification of vegetables to provide local markets with safer products. Together with the Centre for Agricultural Research and Ecological Studies (CARES) and the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), FiBL Switzerland started in 2022 to implement a project related to organic vegetables in Vietnam – the Agro-econvert project. Also, the growing organic sector in Thailand offers interesting opportunities for collaborative research.
