The aim of the research is ecologically and economically sustainable food production, increase in the basic knowledge of organic production and a living countryside.
The research on organic production is emphasized on nutrient economy and production techniques. The research on local food and on the recycling of nutrients promotes the sustainability of food economy. Research on herbs, vegetables and berries produces new production alternatives to increase the vitality of the countryside. The research will be carried out in Luomu, Ryhti and Yrtti teams.
