Dryland Agroforestry: Case studies from the Maghreb region

Summary

This technical brochure was developed within the framework of the TransforMed project. It provides theoretical insights into agroforestry systems in the Mediterranean region and examines their potential to improve degraded soils. In addition, the brochure presents examples of agroforestry pilot projects from the Maghreb region. As an accessible introductory publication, the document establishes the foundation for TransforMed’s dissemination strategy on dryland agroforestry in the Mediterranean basin.
