The dataset contains yields and field mangement data of a long-term experiment located in Central Italy where two arable cropping systems, one organic (ORG) and one conventional (CONV) have been compared, from 2001 to 2016 based on the same crop rotation (5-yr sequence with cereals and industrial crops), without any forage crop, animal manure application (“stockless”) and in rainfed conditions. The crop rotations studied are typically used in the Tuscany coastal plain area where CiRAA is located.
