Summary
In ihrem Qualitätspotenzial sind Weine aus Piwi-Rebsorten auf Augenhöhe mit den Standardrebsorten. Es mangelt aber noch an Erfahrung, wie sie am besten ausgebaut werden sollen. Hier helfen sie Verbraucherpräferenzen und die abgeleiteten bevorzugten oder abgelehnten sensorischen Attribute. Es stellt sich für die Zukunft die Frage, ob PIWI-Weine gute sensorische "Kopien" der Stilistiken der Standardrebsorten sein sollen oder ob sie ein eigenständiges, abweichendes, aber neu und anderes erkennbares Profil zeigen sollen.
