Saskaņā ar Eiropas komisijas regulas par bioloģiskās ražošanu un bioloģisko marķēšanu (834/2007) 4. pantu viens no bioloģiskās ražošanas pamatprincipiem ir ierobežota jebkādu ārējo resursu izmantošana. tomēr, ja ārējie resursi ir nepieciešami, tad tiem ir jānāk no bioloģiskās laimniekošanas sistēmas. tas nozīmē, ka arī sēklai un veģetatīvajam pavairošanas materiālam jābūt iegūtam ar bioloģiskās lauksaimniecības metodi.
Summary translation
According to article 4 in the European commission regulation 889/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products, one of basic principles of organic production is limited use of any external resorces. However, if external resources are needed, they must come from the organic farming system. This means thed seeds and vetatative propagating material also must be prodused with the organic farming method.
