Summary
Svenska forskarskolan i ekologiska lantbruks- och livsmedelssystem, (Swedish Research School in Organic Farming and Food Systems - SwOFF) är avsedd för doktoranderna inom Formas forskningsprogram för ekologisk produktion. Det är en fortsättning på forskarskolan i det förra Formasprogrammet (2002-2004).
SwOFF fokuserar på följande områden:
* koordinera och utveckla disciplinär och interdisciplinär doktorandutbildning (kurser, seminarier, workshops) inom ekologiskt/uthålligt lantbruk i ett samarbete med liknande forskarskolor i Norden,
* ge de forskarstuderande tvärvetenskapliga perspektiv och stimulera till tvärvetenskapligt samarbete,
* stimulera, uppmuntra och stödja publicering och bred spridning av forskningsresultat från forskningsprogrammet,
* agera för goda förbindelser med olika internationella program och nätverk, samt underlätta för de studerande att utföra forskning vid forskningsinstitutioner utomlands.
Studierektor för SwOFF är Docent Lennart Salomonsson och verksamheten administreras från CUL.
Summary translation
SwOFF, the Swedish Research School in Organic Farming and Food Systems, is intended for postgraduate students within the Formas key action Organic production. SwOFF will: coordinate and develop disciplinary and interdisciplinary postgraduate education; stimulate interdisciplinary cooperation with the focus on studies of entire systems and methods for participatory research; promote the development of new methods in the interdisciplinary research area sustainable agriculture; support broad dissemination of the results of the programme; make it easier for postgraduate students to conduct research abroad. Work is carried out in close cooperation with colleagues in other universities/universities of agriculture/faculties within the framework of the virtual cooperative university NOVA.
