Agata Luka-Stan était en train de trier pour le Musée d’histoire naturelle de Bâle un riche fonds d’insectes qu’une expédition avait ramené du Laos. Au cours de ce travail, la chercheuse du FiBL est tombée sur une espèce de Paussinae encore mondialement inconnue. Les découvertes de ce genre servent au monde scientifique d’indicateurs de la biodiversité.
