This study assessed seasonal vitamin D levels in pigs from organic farms. 57 Krškopolje pigs were divided into two outdoor and one indoor group. Blood samples were analyzed using ELFA. Outdoor pigs had significantly higher serum vitamin D levels, peaking in summer (73.8 and 86.5 ng/ml), while indoor pigs showed lower levels in the same season (22.9 ng/ml).
