Summary in the original language of the document
The study investigated the effects of seasons and housing conditions on the hematological parameters of pigs reared on organic farm, focusing on the indigenous Slovenian Krškopolje pig breed. Sixty pigs were divided into three groups with different housing conditions: indoors, outdoors with cattle, and outdoors with sheep. Results in this study were obtained from 185 samples over various seasons. The results showed significant seasonal variations, especially in WBC, RBC, and MCH, with the largest differences observed during summer, particularly between indoor and outdoor groups. The type of housing had less influence in the fall, while seasons had the most impact overall.
