Summary
Das hier beschriebene Verbundvorhaben umfasst folgende Teilprojekte: FKZ 22OE016, FKZ 22OE071
Innovative tiergerechte Haltungsverfahren, bei denen sich Indoor- und Outdoorbereiche nicht eindeutig voneinander trennen lassen oder bei denen stalltypische Funktionsbereiche nach außen verlegt sind, sind in den vergangenen Jahren vermehrt anzutreffen. Es ist sicherzustellen, dass diese innovativen tiergerechten Haltungsverfahren den Vorgaben des Anhangs III der Durchführungsverordnung 464 der neuen EU-Öko-Verordnung entsprechen. In einer wissenschaftlich begründeten Darstellung aus Sicht des Tierwohls und der Verfahrenstechnik werden die Ansprüche der Schweine und Rinder an den Platz im indoor und out-door Bereich bzw. um den kompletten Platz, wenn diese Bereiche nicht klar voneinander abgegrenzt werden können, dargestellt. Zur Vorlage an die Sachverständigengruppe für technische Beratung bezüglich der ökologischen/biologischen Produktion (EGTOP) wird im Projekt eine Ausarbeitung dieses Anliegens erarbeitet. Der EGTOP berät die Europäischen Institutionen und stützt sich dabei auf Erfahrungswerte aus der Praxis, um für wirksame und verhältnismäßige EU-Vorschriften für Bio-Produkte zu sorgen. Da es in der Bio-Landwirtschaft ständige Fortschritte und zahlreiche Innovationen gibt, wird somit sichergestellt, dass die EU in diesem Bereich auf der Höhe der technischen Entwicklungen bleibt.
Summary translation
Innovative animal-friendly husbandry methods, in which indoor and outdoor areas cannot be clearly separated from each other or in which functional areas typical for stables are moved outside, have become increasingly common in recent years. It must be ensured that these innovative animal-friendly husbandry methods comply with the requirements of Annex III of the Implementing Regulation 464 of the new EU Organic Regulation. In a scientifically justified presentation from the point of view of animal welfare and process engineering, the requirements of pigs and cattle for space indoors and outdoors, or around the entire space if these areas cannot be clearly demarcated, are presented. For submission to the Expert Group for Technical Advice on Organic Production (EGTOP), an elaboration of this concern is being developed in the project. EGTOP advises the European institutions, drawing on practical experience to ensure effective and proportionate EU rules for organic products. As there is constant progress and many innovations in organic farming, this will ensure that the EU stays at the forefront of technical developments in this area.
