Summary
Gemäß Artikel 26 der EU-Verordnung 848/2018 müssen ab dem 01.01.2022 alle EU-Mitgliedsstaaten eine Datenbank für ökologische Tiere und für ökologische juvenile Aquakulturtiere bereitstellen. In der Datenbank haben alle Anbieter*innen und Landwirt*innen mit gültiger Öko-Zertifizierung die Möglichkeit, sich zu registrieren und ihre Zucht- und Masttiere aus ökologischer Herkunft anzubieten. Die Suche nach Tieren in der Datenbank ist ohne Registrierung möglich. Die Listung von zum Verkauf stehenden Tieren in der Datenbank ist freiwillig. Ab dem 01.01.2022 dienen die Einträge in der Datenbank als Grundlage für Ausnahmegeneh-migungen für den Kauf konventioneller Tiere. Landwirt*innen müssen daher ab diesem Zeitpunkt Ausnahmegenehmigungen für den Zukauf konventioneller Zucht-tiere, juveniler Aquakulturtiere und Junggeflügel unter 3 Tagen direkt über die Daten-bank beantragen. Anschließend erfolgt eine Prüfung der Angaben durch die Kontroll-stellen und die Entscheidung über die Genehmigung durch die zuständige Behörde.
Summary translation
According to Article 26 of EU Regulation 848/2018, all EU member states must provide a database for organic livestock and for organic juvenile aquaculture animals from January 1st, 2022. In the database, all supplier and farmer with valid organic certification have the possibility to register and offer their breeding and fattening animals from organic origin. The search for animals in the database is possible without registration. Listing animals for sale in the database is voluntary. From January 1st, 2022, the entries in the database will serve as the basis for derogations for the purchase of conventional animals. Farmers must therefore apply for derogations for the purchase of conventional breeding animals, juvenile aquaculture animals and young poultry under 3 days of age directly via the database. Subsequently, the information is checked by the inspection bodies and the decision on the approval is made by the competent authority.
