Der Anteil an Biodiversitätsförderflächen (BFF) beträgt im Mittelland heute deutlich mehr als die geforderten sieben Prozent. Auch die Qualität der Flächen hat sich verbessert. Dennoch: Drei Viertel der BFF sind nach wie vor kaum als «naturnahe Lebensräume» erkennbar.
