A pitfall trap is a trapping pit for small animals, such as insects, amphibians and reptiles. This video shows how to set a pitfall trap, step by step:
1. Dig a hole;
2. Place cups in soil, so the rim is level with the soil surface;
3. Prepare the solution for the cups;
4. Fill the traps half full;
5. Cover traps with plastic roof;
6. Empty traps every 14 days.
