Smaller generation of youth in the North, larger generation of elderly drinking lesser milk, changing lifestyles and concentration in the global retail sector is forcing the dairy sector to develop new products and aiming for the growing youth genration in the South. In the future milk will more be a product part of meals, and thedayri sector is exspanding in scope buying up juice, water, breakfast cerealsand biscuit companies.
