Rapporten belyser og vurderer det fremtidige potentiale for stribedyrkning og dyrkningssystemets bæredygtighed under danske forhold. Det sker ud fra resultater og erfaringer fra Organic RDD 6-projektet StripCrop, som gennemføres i perioden 2021 – 2024 på forskningsplatforme og hos økologiske landmænd i et samarbejde mellem Innovationscenter for Økologisk Landbrug, Aarhus Universitet, Københavns Universitet, Nordic Beet Research (NBR) og Agrointelli/BenFarm. I rapporten er der fokus på både funktionel biodiversitet, agronomiske og økonomiske aspekter samt praktiske erfaringer i forbindelse med rugen af landbrugsmaskiner og autonome robotter, og stribedyrkningssystemets fordele og udfordringer. De danske erfaringer er sammenholdt med resultater fra lignende forsøg i andre lande fra samme klimazone.

The report highlights and assesses the future potential of strip cropping and the sustainability of the cultivation system under Danish conditions. This is based on results and experiences from the Organic RDD 6 project StripCrop, conducted from 2021 to 2024 on research platforms and with organic farmers in collaboration with the Innovation Center for Organic Farming, Aarhus University, the University of Copenhagen, Nordic Beet Research (NBR), and Agrointelli/BenFarm. The report focuses on functional biodiversity, agronomic and economic aspects, as well as practical experiences with the use of agricultural machinery and autonomous robots, and the benefits and challenges of the strip cropping system. The Danish experiences are compared with results from similar trials in other countries within the same climate zone.
