What problem does the tool address?:Consumers' attitude towards the products of fisheries and aquaculture has captured the interest of researchers for reasons political, economic and medical, related to nutritional and safety aspects food, environmental sustainability and expansion of the product industry of fish. Fisheries and aquaculture products can be essential components in a healthy and balanced diet due to their low fat content, high protein content and fundamental micronutrients such as vitamins and minerals. However, despite the growth in average per capita consumption of fishery and aquaculture products registered globally, the doses recommended for weekly consumption of such products in many areas of the world are not have been achieved. This is also true for industrialized countries, where the highest level of average consumption is observed per capita of fishery and aquaculture products.
What solution does the tool offer?:In order to achieve increased consumption of fishery and aquaculture products, it is important to understand which factors influence consumers to purchase these products. For this, a survey was conducted with consumers.
