Summary translation

Weed infestation and yield were determined in peas uniformly cropped at the end of a long-term field trial with different legumes in crop rotations. Legumes were grass-clover swards (alfalfa, red and white clover) and grain legume (above all field bean and soya, only at the beginning peas). Docks were found in all variants with grass-clover swards, but mostly not in the crop rotation with grain legume. Hence, docks were most probably from the seeds. The crop rotation with grain legume has the highest weed infestation, above all common wild oat. This emphasizes the need for cropping grass-clover swards in organic farming. Peas yielded higher after crop rotations with grass-clover swards than after grain legumes. Furthermore, peas yielded lower after preceding crop field bean than after cereals in the crop rotations with grain legume. Hence, we assumed a higher soil fatigue after field beans. Change between field bean and pea in the crop rotation to elongate the rotation breaks and avoiding soil fatigue seems to be dubious.
