Summary translation
Each three varieties of naked and hulled oat were compared in field trials over three years at two experimental sites in Bavaria. Dehulled yield was in average 20 % higher for hulled oat than for naked oat. Most agronomic characteristics like plant length, lodging or thousand seed weight depend on the variety and not on the oat species.
