De effecten van kruiden en kuikenkwaliteit op de respons van jonge biologische opfokhennen op een coccidiose besmetting was onderzocht. Kruiden hadden geen effect op de laesie scores of op technische resultaten. Kuikenkwaliteit had ook geen effect op laesie scores, maar had wel een significant effect op de technische resultaten. Er werden geen interacties waargenomen tussen kruidenproducten en kuikenkwaliteit.
Summary translation
The effects of herbal treatments and chick quality on the response of young organic layer poults to an infection with coccidiosis was studied. Alternative treatments had no effect on Eimeria lesion scores or technical results. Chick quality had no effect on Eimeria lesion scores, but influenced technical results significantly. No interactions between the herbal products and chick quality were found.
