Summary

Summary translation

From the nutrients and organic matter that are removed from the farms by the harvested produce just a small part flows back to organic agriculture. To close the circle of nutrients and to diminish the dependence of the conventional agriculture and the use of not renewable resources research is carried out to look to improvements. How can nutrients and organic matter from organic grown crops flow back from industry and society and how can organic material from natural areas be used in the organic farming? Return of nutrients and organic matter from industry and society knows just limited possibilities, because the small scale of the farms and the industry, the dispersion over the country, the impossibility to separate the waste from organic agriculture from that of conventional agricultural or the extra costs to separate the waste. Use of organic material from natural areas offers more possibilities to diminish the dependence of the conventional agriculture and the natural non renewable resources, in particular phosphate. Three recommendations have been formulated: 1. Stimulate the use of organic waste from natural areas by adjustment of the legislation en check up the best possibilities how to receive this produce; as compost composted by intermediate firms, as compost composted by intermediate firms with special EKO-logo or as organic material for composting at biological farms. 2. Work out the conditions to develop a list of permitted coproduces of which the digestate can be used in organic agriculture. The endeavor is 100% organic input (lead to organic digestate). 3. Develop a marketplace where supply and demand of organic grown waste can meet each other
