Summary in the original language of the document
The experiment was designed to examine the relationship between genetic variation in nitrogen and water uptake and crop performance under organic field conditions. One hundred fifty butter head lettuce genotypes were evaluated for their performance and nitrogen uptake from different soil depths. The results showed significant genotypic difference in dry matter yield and nitrogen use efficiency.
