Summary
Workshops, climate calculations on farm, and climate analysis using RISE (Response Inducing Sustainability Evaluation) have resulted in a number of specific course of actions a farm manager can undertake, to reduce the climate impact. Most of the reductions can be gained by management (eg. no waste, more roughage, home grown feed), but some investment in techniques can also contribute (eg. frequent removal of manure from the barn, manure to biogas, cooling of slurry).
