Sopp kan supplere øvrig dyrking i hage eller på gård. Sopp supplerer det biologiske mangfoldet, kan fremme verdien av andre arter og bidra til et effektivt og produktivt næringskretsløp. Etablering av en soppkultur er tidkrevende og stiller store krav til god hygiene. Lys og fuktighet er i tillegg faktorer som en bør ta høyde for.
Noen eksempler på dyrking med shiitake, østerssopp, trøffel og spissmorkel gis her.
Sopp kan supplere kosthold med protein og D-vitamin.

It will aument the biological biodiversity, it can aument the value of other species and contribute to an effective and productive circulation of nutrients. Establishment of mushroom cultivation requiere time and hygiene. Light and humidity are as well important factors.
