Summary
NORSØK has worked with residues of Ascophyllum nodosum (bladderwrack) after chemical extraction over several years, applying these residues as a sol amendment. The residual effect on plant growth has been significant. Seaweed material is high in K and Mg,and hence combines well with fish-derived materials rich in N, P and Ca to complete crop plants' demand for nutrients.
