Summary

Three tools, with students and teachers versions: 1) A quiz with 21 questions to build a first knowledge base on multi-species livestock farming among the students, 2) A Q-sort with 18 statements to identify students' initial representations of multi-species livestock farming and set up the construction of an argumentation, 3) An implementation tool with a study case to apply the new knowledge to farm cases and place the learners in a reflection on the most relevant solution of multi-species livestock farming.

EPrint Type:Practice tool
What problem does the tool address?:The objective of this tool is: 1) To inform and consolidate the sometimes incomplete knowledge of multi-species livestock farming. 2) To transform the sometimes negative learners’ representations of multi-species livestock farming. 3) For mobilizing knowledge in action and acquiring skills in order to understand the sustainability and viability of farm diversification.
What solution does the tool offer?:Three independent and complementary tools on the topic of multi-species livestock in organic farms are proposed for students and teachers: a quiz, a Q-sort and an implementation tool with a case study.
