Summary
I et feltforsøk over to år (2020-21) er fire sorter, to foredlingslinjer og fire populasjoner (fra Graminor AS) av vårhvete sammenliknet på to forsøksfelt i Vestfold. 200 gode aks fra hver forsøksrute ble håndplukket i felt i 2020, og materialet sådd ut igjen året etter. Etter tresking i 2020 ble kornet luftseparert, og det tyngste kornet ble sådd ut og sammenliknet med planter fra såfrø fra håndplukkede aks. Ved besøk i felt på en markdag juli 2021 var det tydelig at planter fra håndplukka aks var noe lengre og kraftigere enn planter fra luftseparerte frø. Summary translation
In a field experiment over 2 years (2020-21), 4 cultivars, 2 breeding lines and 4 populations (from Graminor AS) of spring wheat compared at two sites in Vestfold, Norway. 200 ears were selected and picked by hand per experimental plot in 2020, and seeds planted in 2021. For comparison, the heaviest proportion of air-separated seeds, after harvest by combiner in 2020, were planted. At a field day in July 2021, participants could observe that plants from hand-selected ears were somewhat higher and more vigorous. The field day also included a visit to a nearby seed cleaning facility.
