Summary
The following tables respresent a model farm representing average European growing-finishing pig farms (based on figures, knowledge and experiments from all partners in the POWER project). The format is following to the assessment protocol used for data collection on WP3 best-practice farms. Details on the innovations tested in WP1 (i.e. showers, roughage provided in racks in the outdoor run, rooting areas, increased cleaning frequency) are given in separate sheets.
