It can be stated that the management of nutrition in fruit growing can be facilitated by the use of bio-fertilisers, considering the new knowledge gained on soil processes, the effects of biodiversity on plant productivity, especially under conditions of climate change, and the interconnections between micro-organisms and the plant. The article highlights all the important aspects of the bio-fertilisers to enhance soil fertility, presenting the DOMINO project.
