Summary
La réglementation européenne et nationale tend à réduire de plus en plus la consommation et l'utilisation de produits phytosanitaires en agriculture. Ce développement règlementaire suppose une adaptation des agriculteurs et en particulier de leurs systèmes d'information relatifs à la protection des cultures. Pour pouvoir accompagner et aider les agriculteurs dans cette évolution, il est nécessaire de savoir comment ils organisent actuellement leur information. Pour cet état des lieux, il a été réalisé une enquête auprès de quinze agriculteurs minimisant l'utilisation des pesticides (agricultures biologique et intégrée) et d'une quinzaine d'acteurs produisant de l'information sur la protection des cultures. Ces deux enquêtes ont permis de modéliser l'offre d'information et d'analyser les systèmes d'information des agriculteurs interrogés. Les données ont été traités ensuite avec celles d'une enquête menée conjointement auprès de quatorze agriculteurs conventionnels. L'enquête a permis de tracer un schéma global synthétisant l'offre d'information. En outre, les résultats révèlent un écart important entre une agriculture biologique en mal d'information sur la protection des cultures et une agriculture conventionnelle au contraire mieux dotée dans ce domaine. Les agriculteurs en production intégrée de l'échantillon sont également bien informés. Quoiqu'il en soit les agriculteurs privilégient dans tous les cas le contact humain pour la collecte d'information, notamment via un conseiller agricole. L'agriculture biologique est précisément celle qui manque le plus de technicien spécialisé dans ce mode production. Les résultats révèlent en outre que le besoin d'information est lié aux productions de l'exploitation et au risque économique et technique que fait peser la pression phytosanitaire.
Summary translation
The national and european reglementation tends to reduce more and more the consumption and use of pesticides in agriculture. This reglementory development supposed the farmers to adapt, especially their informationsystems about crop protection. In order to help them during this evolution, it's necessary to know how they currently organise their information. In this inventory, we interviewed fifteen farmers who minimise the use of chemicals(organic farming and integrated pest management) and about fifteen players who used to provide information about crop protection. These investigations permit to modelise the information offer and to analyse the investigated farmers' information systems. The elements of the a second investigation about fourteen conventional farmers were analysed the same way. After the investigation, it has been possible to draw a figure about all the offer of information. In addition, the results revealed the organic farmers are less informed than the conventional ones. The farmers in IPM we interviewed were also well informed. Nethermind, all the farmers appreciate human contact, especially by a farm advisor. The organic farming is precisely the type of farming with the less of farm advisors. The results show us also that the need of information is linked to the farm products and to the economical and technical risk occured by the pests.
