Komplekse problemer kan bringes på grafisk og narrativ formel i tegneserier. Disse har et stort potentiale i videnskabelig kommunikation og undervisning. Forfatterne angiver seks potentialer som tegneserier som grafisk medie rummer:

Comics have a big potential in scientific communication and teaching, in particular with regard to complex problems. The article suggests six areas where the medium of comics shows great potential:
