In the past, the quality of organic wheat has led to some controversy in the grain industry. The focus lies on the protein content, which is generally lower in organic wheat due to lower nitrogen supply.
The Swiss organic sector has agreed on a new protein payment model, which was implemented in 2016.
In the video, representatives of the value chain present their points of view.
