Summary
Summary translation
The technology of ferti-irrigation provide a distribution of fertilizers by the irrigation system. Above all this practice is useful for help the plants to overcome some abiotic stress like water stress and transplantation stress.
Actually many products are available, composed by amino – acids and micro – elements, also authorized in organic agriculture. Yet it’s necessary to verify the distribution methods: equipments, treatment intervals, and quantities.
In the years since 2002 to 2004 four strategies based on the combination of ferti-irrigation products and foliar fertilizers were tested in an apple orchard. The commercial products tested were: Ilsadrip + Etix mgb (ILSA), Nutrigreen AD + Oligogreen (Green Has Italia), Lysodin Alga – Fert + Lysodin multimix (Intrachem), Vitaveg + Oligogreen (Green Has Italia). The results were different in the three years; so it’s no possible to point out particular positive effects of every strategy. In particular stress conditions some products seem to improve the leaves colouring and the fruits brightness but not the sugar content.
