Inden for ganske få år forventes det, at GM sorter af raps vil blive dyrket i Dannmark. Raps er en af de danske afgrøder, der har det største potentiale for genspredning. Det er derfor nødvendigt at løse de sameksistensproblemer der vil opstå, når GM raps dyrkes i nærheden af økologisk raps og ikke-GM raps. I hvilken grad agerkål og spildraps og urenheder i certificeret rapsfrø bidrager til forekomsten af GM under forskellige forhold, undersøges i et igangværende projekt på Risø og KVL.
