Dans la filière des œufs bio, la décision de laisser vivre tous les poussins a rendu nécessaire l'élevage de nouvelles races de poules pondeuses. Avec ses performances supérieures à la moyenne et ses œufs d'une très belle couleur, la Sandy est une candidate très prometteuse. À l'occasion de la journée «Poules pondeuses bio» 2026, trois professionnels partagent l'expérience acquise avec cette race.
