Summary
A short video providing insight into the ICROFS‑funded LiveFishHealth project. The project explores the use of the small white worm Enchytraeus albidus as a live vector for oral vaccination against the bacterial disease RTFS in organic rainbow trout production. Organic farmers often face early RTFS outbreaks before fish are large enough for conventional vaccination, and antibiotic use is strictly regulated. The project therefore investigates innovative, sustainable methods to improve fish health and support the development of organic trout farming.
