Summary
Beim equinen Sarkoid (ES), dem häufigsten Hauttumor bei Equiden, sind aktuelle Behandlungsmethoden unzureichend und Rezidive häufig. Eine RCT-Studie zeigte 2010 für subkutan injizierte Mistelextrakte (ME) gegenüber Placebo eine signifikant (p<0,01) höhere Sarkoid-Regressionsrate. Die wiederholten Injektionen sind aber häufig ein Therapieablehnungsgrund.
