What problem does the tool address?:Within the AgriAdapt project, various pilot farms have been involved. In this video, Begona from her 970 ha farm in Valencia de Alcántara (Province of Cáceres, Spain) talks about the climate change-related challenges she faces with thier sheep and pigs in the mountains. Enrique Vega, also a pilot farmer, has his 415 ha farm in Plasencia where he produces organic beef.
What solution does the tool offer?:Due to the various challenges, a holistic management approach in these conditions plays a crucial role. A holistic approach intends to regenerate the soil and also the pastures that animals graze on. The goal is to make pastures and soils in general more resilient towards climate change.
