Summary in the original language of the document
This master thesis investigates the nitrogen balance and compost quality of a composting bioreactor that converts volatilized ammonia into liquid fertilizer. Nutrient analysis of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and carbon (C) of the compost, as well as pH, electrical conductivity (EC), and germination index of the compost, were conducted. A pot experiment with lettuce was done to examine the effect of the compost and liquid fertilizer on crop growth. Vegetable waste combined with straw pellets was used as feedstock for the composting process.
