Les lentilles d’eau, que beaucoup de gens connaissent aussi sous le nom de lenticules, sont pendant les mois chauds bien visibles sous forme de tapis verts recouvrant des plans d’eau riches en éléments. Leur grand potentiel comme aliment fourrager produit localement et riche en protéines est par contre moins connu.
