Summary
The climate and environmental emergency calls for URGENT ANSWERS.
It is a political, economic, social priority... But the impacts of climate change are already a reality that particularly affects production and access to food and, therefore, endangers our food and nutritional security, especially the most vulnerable communities.
As a counterpart, organic production and agroecology are positioned as the best guarantors of the right to healthy and safe food, in addition to a proven strategy for mitigation and adaptation to climate change.
For this reason, the main themes of this XIV International Congress of EEAS are Food Sovereignty and Climate Emergency, essential issues for the agroecological transition of our agri-food system.

La situación de emergencia climática y ambiental reclama RESPUESTAS URGENTES.
Se trata de una prioridad política, económica, social… Pero los impactos del cambio climático son ya una realidad que afecta muy especialmente a la producción y acceso a alimentos y que, por tanto, ponen en peligro nuestra seguridad alimentaria y nutricional, sobre todo de las comunidades más vulnerables.
Como contrapartida, la producción ecológica y la agroecología se sitúan como los mejores garantes del derecho a una alimentación sana y segura, además de una estrategia demostrada de mitigación y adaptación al cambio climático.
Por eso, los temas principales de este XIV Congreso Internacional de SEAE son la Soberanía alimentaria y Emergencia climática, cuestiones imprescindibles para la transición agroecológica de nuestro sistema agroalimentario.
