La lutte contre les adventices est fréquemment citée comme contrainte majeure à la conversion à l'agriculture biologique (AB). Outre le désherbage mécanique, la culture en tant que telle fait partie des moyens de lutte par sa capacité à concurrence le développement des adventices. Dans cette étude, nous nous intéressons à caractériser la capacité des céréales à couvrir le sol, ou pouvoir couvrant, dans le but d'étayer les recommandations variétales aux agriculteurs.rices.
Summary translation
Weed control is frequently cited as a major constraint to conversion to organic farming. In addition to mechanical weeding, the crop itself is a means of controlling weeds through its ability to compete with weed development. In this study, we are interested in characterizing the capacity of cereals to cover the soil, or covering power, in order to support varietal recommendations to farmers.
