Artiklen beskriver resultater af MAFFRA II forsøg med tilsætning af udviklede prototyper antibakterielle plantecocktail til foder til økologiske fravænningsgrise for at forebygge mod E coli induceret diarré.
Resultater fra kontrolleret forsøg med E coli F18 inficering af grise. Plantecocktail er miks af tørt pulver af hvidløg med høj allicin indhold og æblepresserest eller solbær med lav pH, der sammen giver synergistisk øget antibakteriel effekt mod F18 coli.


Summary translation

The article describes the results of MAFFRA II trials with the addition of developed prototype antibacterial plant cocktails to feed for organic weaning pigs to prevent E coli-induced diarrhoea.
Results from controlled trial with E coli F18 infection of pigs. Plant cocktail is a mix of dry powder of garlic with a high allicin content and powder of apple press cake or blackcurrants with a low pH, which together give a synergistically increased antibacterial effect on F18 coli.
