Summary in the original language of the document

In this video, Hinrich Holthusen from the Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture presents tunnel sprayers with a recycling system for the application of plant protection products in orchards.
During a NEFERTITI Cross Visit, a tunnel sprayer from LIPCO and a reflector sprayer from WANNER were presented. The background: crop protection near water bodies normally has to keep a distance of 20 metres. In the Altes Land area with its numerous bodies of water, this would make conventional crop protection impossible. That is why the ALVO, the Altes Land Plant Protection Ordinance, has been in place since 2015. This allows fruit trees to be treated near bodies of water. However, various conditions must be fulfilled. If organic production is used, then all requirements are fulfilled. Those who cannot or do not want to produce organically must use recycling sprayers or tunnel sprayers.
