Summary
Depuis quatre ans, la recherche en agriculture biologique est soutenue au CRA-W par le gouvernement wallon au travers du « Plan Stratégique pour le Développement de l’Agriculture Biologique en Wallonie à l’horizon 2020 ». La Cellule transversale de Recherches en Agriculture biologique (CtRAb) a été mise en place pour assurer la coordination des activités de recherche notamment via l’élaboration d’un Plan global de Recherche (PR) en AB. Ces activités de recherche couvrent à la fois le domaine des productions végétales et celui des productions animales.
Ce 29 novembre, une petite centaine d’acteurs du secteur bio était présente pour prendre connaissance des derniers résultats de recherche relatifs aux productions animales et leurs performances technico-économique des filières bovines et porcines biologiques.

For the past four years, research in organic agriculture has been supported at the CRA-W by the Walloon government through the "Strategic Plan for the Development of Organic Agriculture in Wallonia by 2020". The Transversal Organic Agriculture Research Unit (CtRAb) has been set up to coordinate research activities, in particular through the development of a global Organic Agriculture Research Plan (PR). These research activities cover both crop and livestock production.
On November 29, a small group of about a hundred organic sector actors were present to learn about the latest research results related to animal production and the technical and economic performance of the organic beef and pork sectors.
