Summary
The Spanish Society of Organic Agriculture and Agroecology (SEAE) have organized a Technical Conference (JT), under the slogan “One health. A planet. A diverse rural world ”: because people's health is inseparable from the health of our planet. In this symbiosis, the rural world plays a fundamental role as a guarantor of our food and of many other services that sustain life and preserve the health of our ecosystems. And if something balances the three aspects - health, planet and rural world - it is ecological production and agroecology which, in times of pandemic and climate emergency, are configured as the best strategy to demand a comprehensive response to this socio-economic crisis. ecological current, addressing all those links between agriculture and health.
Thus, under the gaze of experts and initiatives in the agroecological field that range from local to international, it is expected to explore, from a transdisciplinary and multisectoral approach, different issues involved in this single health concept: the role of organic production and short channels, human and animal health as interdependent and linked to ecosystems or public policies that should favor agroecological strategies for the transition of our food systems.

Desde la Sociedad Española de Agricultura Ecológica y Agroecología (SEAE) hemos organizado nuestras Jornadas Técnicas (JT), bajo el lema “Una salud. Un planeta. Un mundo rural diverso”: porque la salud de las personas es inseparable de la salud de nuestro planeta. En esta simbiosis, el mundo rural tiene un papel fundamental, como garante de nuestra alimentación y de tantos otros servicios que sustentan la vida y preservan la salud de nuestros ecosistemas. Y si algo aúna en equilibrio las tres vertientes – salud, planeta y mundo rural – es la producción ecológica y la agroecología que, en tiempos de pandemia y emergencia climática, se configuran como la mejor estrategia para exigir una respuesta integral a esta crisis socio-ecológica actual, abordando todos esos vínculos entre agricultura y salud.
Así pues, bajo la mirada de personas expertas e iniciativas del ámbito agroecológico que van desde lo local a lo internacional, se espera explorar, desde un enfoque transdisciplinar y multisectorial, diferentes cuestiones implicadas en este concepto de única salud: el papel de la producción ecológica y los canales cortos, la salud humana y animal como interdependientes y vinculadas a los ecosistemas o las políticas públicas que deben favorecer las estrategias agroecológicas para la transición de nuestros sistemas alimentarios.
