Summary
4 fermes de Loire Atlantique (France) ont évalué l’adaptation de la variété Poromb. Chaque ferme a semé la version de sa variété à côté d’autres versions issues des 3 autres fermes. Un processus de recherche participative, basé sur plusieurs rencontres en salle et dans les champs, a permis d’améliorer le protocole, de renforcer le dispositif expérimental, de discuter et de valider collectivement les résultats.
Les principaux résultats sont qu’il est indispensable de prévoir des temps collectifs de mesures pour avoir des données de qualité et augmenter la cohésion du groupe. Quelque soit l’année, il n’y a pas de différences entre les versions sauf remarquablement sur la précocité d’une version qui est plus tardive que les autres. Il y a une adaptation de la population Poromb au contexte “Nord Loire”.
Ces résultats permettent de recommander de diffuser les semences par zone géographique : Nord Loire-Atlantique et Sud Loire-Atlantique, sans risque de perdre le travail d’adaptation réalisé sur la ferme d’origine. Cela met en avant la force des échanges et du réseau et la nécessaire organisation collective de la gestion des semences.
Summary translation
4 farms in Loire Atlantique (France) evaluated the adaptation of the Poromb variety. Each farm planted the version of its variety next to other versions from the 3 other farms. A participatory research process, based on several meetings in the classroom and in the field, allowed to improve the protocol, to reinforce the experimental set-up, to discuss and to validate the results collectively.
The main results are that it is essential to plan collective measurement times in order to have quality data and to increase the cohesion of the group. Whatever the year, there are no differences between the versions except remarkably on the earliness of one version which is later than the others. There is an adaptation of the Poromb population to the context of "Nord Loire".
These results make it possible to recommend to distribute the seeds by geographical zone: North Loire-Atlantique and South Loire-Atlantique, without the risk of losing the adaptation work carried out on the farm of origin. This highlights the strength of exchanges and the network and the need for collective organization of seed management.
